So Disney is taking a break from live-action remakes, and we have to say we're not too surprised.
Switching on Disney Channel was like switching on your oxygen tank for many fans from the early 2000s. We knew all the theme songs by heart of every single show, or all the Disney soundtracks as well.
But when these Disney live-action remakes started to happen, many fans felt they were either going to go terribly wrong or they would do really well. And…so far it’s been a pretty big mixed bag where about 60% of the time you get something that’s not too great.
