Civic groups have taken to the streets in Taipei, marching through the city to commemorate the 6th anniversary of a pivotal day during Hong Kong's anti-extradition movement, hoping to raise awareness and remind the public not to forget what happened in Hong Kong. Six years ago on June 12, police in Hong Kong fired rubber bullets and tear gas into crowds of protestors, changing the nature of the anti-extradition movement, which continued on for months.
