Karzai, Abdullah both claim victory in early vote results

Both incumbent President Hamid Karzai and challenger Abdullah Abdullah, a former foreign minister, claim victory in early results as vote counting ended following Wednesday's presidential poll. Preliminary results are expected on August 25.
