Lady Gaga has told fans in Berlin that being successful in Germany is a dream come true.
The glam popstar collected three prestigious Echo Awards before performing a sell-out concert in the city.
She told fans: "I love you so much. It's been a real joy getting to know my fans in Germany.
"Germany and the club culture has inspired so much of my music on The Fame Monster.
"Last year, I saw one of my favourite bands, Metallica, play in this arena. And I had lots to drink and was wearing denim and leather."
Once Gaga had left, reporters were locked inside the room for ten minutes after being told that she did not wish to be seen by them anymore.
