RECORD NUMBER OF BRITS GIVE SNAILS AN ESCAR-GOT

Once deemed a forkful too far for most Brits – snails are back in demand according to national restaurant chain Café Rouge. A record number are expected to be devoured this month alone as the nation celebrates National Escargot Day on 24 May.
