Dubai is hosting this week one of the largest healthcare expositions in the world. With thousands of exhibitors from around the globe, visitors can meet and learn about the latest healthcare technologies. Here is more from our correspondent.

Dubai is hosting the largest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East, and the second largest in the world. The Deputy Ruler of Dubai and United Arab Emirates' Minister of Finance His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, opened the doors of The Arab Health Exhibition & Congress on Monday.

The expo is being held at the Dubai World Trade, featuring almost 3000 companies from 60 countries. It provides a platform for manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors to meet with the global medical and scientific community.

"We have distributors throughout the Middle East and this is a very important meeting place to both meet new costumers and to meet our existing distributors and to present and show our products."

Now in its 36th year, The Arab Health Exhibition and Congress will run until Thursday (27th of January).
