The Giant Panda is edging closer to extinction. Birthrates are low, so when three baby pandas were born just two days apart in China, researchers were thrilled. Ladies and Gentlemen, may I introduce to you the Giant Panda children of Su Lin and Xi Xi.

Meet Su Lin and her brand new baby. They live together in a humble cave at the Wolong Giant Panda Protection Research Center, near China's Sichuan Province. There's only one problem -- Su Lin is a bit clumsy.

Though these are giant pandas, they start out small. Su Lin has been dropping her newborn, so doctors are taking him away to treat a few minor cuts and bruises.

Xi Xi, another panda, gave birth to twins just one day after Su Lin. Since pandas can only feed one baby, researchers are temporarily swapping one of Xi Xi's babies to keep Su Lin company. He's a strong baby, so if Su Lin drops him, there won't be a problem.

Panda's recognize their children by scent. So researchers had to apply a little bit of Su Lin's baby's feces to the other infant's anus. That way, Su Lin will be happy to let the new baby suckle at her teat.

All the three baby giant pandas and Su Lin and Xi Xi are now doing well.
