China's most decorated Winter Olympic athlete has been expelled after drunken brawl with her team manager. Wang Meng is barred from international competitions. She has won three gold medals at the Vancouver Games in 2010. Here's more.

Four-time Winter Olympic champion, Wang Meng has been expelled from the Chinese national short track speed skating team.

Wang punched her team manager Wang Chunlu, when she was criticized for not returning on time to the training camp, after a night out with five other teammates.

[Wang Meng, Winter Olympic Champion]:
"Whatever it takes, what I have done made a negative impact on society and I should apologize to the whole people of China. There are so many ice and snow sports fans who were fond of me and supported me, and I feel what I did was not right."

Twenty-six year old Wang was suspended on July 24th under a temporary castigation after the incident at a training camp.

But Wang says the punishment is unfair. She plans to give a personal press conference soon.

Wang has won three golds at the Vancouver Games in 2010, and one gold, a silver, and a bronze at Turin in 2006

Also expelled is male speed skater Liu Xianwei. Liu was alleged to have provoked the argument between Wang and her team manager.

Four other members involved have been allowed to continue training with the national team.

This includes Zhou Yang, Liu Qiuhong, Han Jialiang, and Liang Wenhao. But they have to write confessions for their misconduct. Zhou has decided to resign from the national team.
