Palestinians fleeing Hamas trapped at crossing

A few hundred Fatah-affiliated Palestinians have amassed at the Erez Crossing between Israel and the Gaza Strip, in an attempt to flee Hamas, cross into Israel and continue on to the West Bank. Following a deadly attack by Hamas gunmen on the refugees Monday, the IDF on Tuesday moved tanks and ground forces into the Palestinian side of the crossing to protect the fleeing Gaza residents. 06/19/07
