Spain judge Garzón convicted over wiretapping

Spain's Supreme Court has found the human rights judge Baltasar Garzón guilty of authorising the illegal recording of defence lawyers' conversations.

In a unanimous ruling, he was barred from practising for 11 years. The court said he could not appeal against the decision.
