In this video, Angie Simpson, the administrator of Lotus Park Assisted Living, discusses the activities at Lotus Park Assisted Living.
"Well some of the things we do would be going on bus rides. So when the fall leaves change colors we will go through the canyons and give them a ride, let them get out and see it. Some of these people have been so confined in their homes because they can't ever get out.
We'll take trips to the ice cream shop and get some ice creams. We will go to Wal-Mart and Target and any stores they feel like they want to go to. We'll probably take a poll of who wants to go where and try to accommodate everyone.
So the bus rides will be a fun thing to do. We have bingo and that's a really fun thing, they have prizes they can win. We'll be doing all kinds of crafts. It will probably be seasonal and also have to do with holidays that are coming up. Of course nobody is forced to do this, this is just anybody who wants to. We like to play a lot of games, card games, board games.
We will be having people coming in and performing for us, they will have a piano player coming in. we will have some people coming in that play western music. We will have church for those who want to participate in that.
