Italy mayors protest budget cuts in spending review

Mayors from towns and cities across Italy have staged a protest against spending cuts outside the Senate in Rome.
 
Around 200 of the provincial officials are warning that provision of some local services could be badly affected, as Prime Minister Mario Monti tries to reduce the country's budget deficit.
