The Syrian foreign minister arrived in Doha, Qatar, on Sunday to meet with Arab league officials.
The meeting took place even as reports came in from activists that at least 10 people were been killed by Syrian government forces.
In Doha the subject of discussion was how to find a solution to the eight-month uprising against the government of President Bashar Al Assad.
