Actor and comedian Jaspal Bhatti died in a car accident on Thursday (Oct 25) after his car hit a roadside tree near Shahkot in Punjab. 57-year-old actor was going to Jalandhar from Bhatinda for the promotion of Punjabi film 'Power Cut' scheduled to be released on Friday. Bhatti's son Jasraj, who was driving the car and film's heroine Surili Gautam were injured and rushed to a hospital in Jalandhar. Bhatti's cremation is expected to take place on Thursday evening after his body is brought to Chandigarh.
