One of the flight data recorders from the Iranair plane which crashed in the country's north-west has been recovered. The Boeing 727 was en route from Tehran to the city of Orumiyeh when it came down in heavy snow and fog, leaving at least 77 people dead and around 30 others injured. Officials say the bad weather is hampering the recovery operation. There have been at least five major crashes in Iran since 2005 - with US sanctions being blamed for making it hard to maintain the country's air industry.
