Stocks open mixed & Hurricane Sandy sends jobless rate soaring

11/15/12 Global stocks were trading mixed Thursday morning as China's leadership transition was complete and on a rise in European GDP. Also, Hurricane Sandy devastated the U.S. job market as claims soared to an 18-month high.
