Church of England votes on women bishops

At its General Synod in London today, the Church of England will vote on whether to allow the ordination of women bishops. Women already serve as bishops in some parts of the world, but the organisation has struggled to reconcile a dispute between reformers and traditionalists on whether to allow them in England.
