Rockstar Games preparing next-generation development, Bioshock Infinite delayed yet again, and Nintendo launches Deluxe Digital Promotion, THIS IS NICK’S GAMING VIEW!
Hello everyone and welcome to Nick’s Gaming View, you are here with your host, Nick McCandless. With Grand Theft Auto V just months away from launch, it’s obvious the team at Rockstar is working hard to deliver the best Grand Theft Auto to date, but unsurprisingly, next-generation development is officially in effect. According to a recent job listing from Rockstar Games, the studio is seeking to “develop cutting-edge architectures and high performance systems for current and next-gen platforms.” Seeing how impressive Grand Theft Auto V is shaping up to be, just the thought of Rockstar Games being able to take the franchise to even more impressive heights has me stoked for the next Xbox and PlayStation.
Until then, a title millions of gamers are eagerly anticipating, BioShock Infinite, has been delayed yet again because according to Ken Levine, Creative Director and Co-founder of Irrational Games, the studio behind Bioshock Infinite, “The game has to be the best game it could possibly be,” Now scheduled to release on March 26th, the wait is sure to test gamer’s patience, but personally I’m pleased to see a strong focus on the quality of the release rather than rushing for a stated date.
Wrapping up Nick’s Gaming View, Nintendo has officially launched their Deluxe Digital Promotion where owners of Wii U’s Deluxe Set will receive 10% back on each digital purchase from now until December 2014, so be sure to stash the cash and capitalize on what seems to be a pretty solid promotion.
