Actor Ranveer Singh says while portraying his role in the upcoming Lootera, he was initially frustrated as he felt he could not do justice to the character in this period romance drama film. Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, the film will take the viewers back in the world of 1950s. "In my earlier films, I have always been high on energy...smiling. But I am happy I got to attempt something different with Lootera. Initially, I was frustrated. I felt I couldn't do this character. I couldn't get it right. It was Vikram, who convinced me that I could do it...all thanks to him," Ranveer told reporters at the first look launch of the film.
