genstep16 v1.0 - A generative step-sequencer built with Max For Live

genstep16 is a step-sequencer whith the ability to generate a new arpeggio/note-pattern over time. The variety in velocity and duration gives the device output an organic, hand played feel. Specify a scale (more to come), press the "generate random sequence every 8th bar" and the device will automatically generate a random pattern of which you can adjust the velocity and duration of each note - or you can set the device to randomly generate variety in these two instances with a user-specified interval. Choose between random, staccato, legato and draw to try different play-modes. The latter gives you the opportunity to specify the velocity and duration of each note yourself.
