Binaural Bowls (3D Audio Recording)

This video features a binaural soundtrack -- put on headphones to hear the audio in 360 degrees. Three sessions were filmed with one person sitting while the other two participants walked around the subject and bowed singing bowls. The person sitting wore a pair of omni-directional mics in their ears to capture sound binaurally. All three sessions were layered together in Max/MSP/Jitter. The volume level in each layer increases its respective visual opacity (the loudest layer is the most visible). Participants are: Aiwen Wang-Huddleston, Michelle Temple, and Matt O'Hare
