Nudity_2015

Nudity is a project carried out in Cologne, Germany, that tries to reflect the experience of the language barrier that I felt for 5 months in the European country. I positioned myself on the wall, like a podium, with a video of my naked self-projected onto my body. When this video was recorded, I kept standing while listening to a sound recording of my voice where I’m reciting difficult moments of my personal life. I had the need to record every tremor, every leap, every tremble my body does when listening to my deepest confessions. Later, at the moment of the performance, the recorded image is superimposed on my body, meanwhile, I’m translating my confessions in English.
