A drunk driver was arrested after a hit-and-run involving five middle school girls on bicycles. The police arrested the suspect today. The twenty-nine man drove himself after getting drunk.

On the way, he slammed into five middle school girls riding their bicycles single file on the dark road. One of them had her right leg badly injured and three others escaped with minor injuries to their heads and legs.

The man's wife found him in his car sound asleep and discovered that the headlights were broken. She called the police. He later admitted in court that he fled the scene of the crime for fear of being found guilty of driving under the influence.
